of the older Bangkok course Krungthep Kreetha is a very
pretty layout which has recently undergone a total rebuild.
There are several hidden water hazards and numerous
OBs on the course. Trees alongside nearly every fairway
call for accurate tee shots.
The greens, many of which are elevated, are among the
truest in Thailand. A pleasant new clubhouse has been
opened and the food and service are as good as ever.

The sheer quality of this championship course speaks
for itself. From the beuatifully manicured greens to
lush fairways, so springy, you can use a fairway wood
for every shot. There are four sets of tees and some
very interesting and testing holes on both the A9 and
the B9.
Holes 6,7 and 8 are very demanding par fours and play
very long even from the ladies tees. There are many
lateral water hazards and serveral 'water carry' holes.
The clubhouse is noted for its Krua Rangsit restaurant. |

36 Holes of championship and resort style golf.
A short drive from Bangkok's thriving metropolis, Lam
Luk Ka sets the stage for a golf experience not easily
forgotten. Both courses meander through Bangkok's wetlands,
where over 10,000 trees and water ways provide homes
to over 100 species of birds and wildlife. After your
round, relax and take a swim overlooking the 10th, or
enjoy a range of thai or international culinary delights
in the clubhouse restaurant overlooking the 18th.
The Championship East Course places a premium on driving
the ball long and straight. Host of the 2002 Thailand
PGA Championship, Lam Luk Ka's East Course will punish
errant golf shots, but make for an enjoyable round if
played from the somewhat friendlier white tees. The
back nine is considered one of the best in Thailand,
ending with a dramatic risk-reward Par 5. Lam Luk Ka's
Championship East Course remains one of Thailand's most
challenging layouts.

Direction:This
is an ideal course for the novice and high handicapper,
on account of its shortness and the excellent condition
of the fairways. Generally, the fairways are wide and
the greens big and fast paced. Lakes flow around the
perimeter of the course, weaving in and around holes,
but not unduly disturbing play. For novelty, the 150
yard and 100 yard markers are plants shaped into birds
and animals. The clubhouse overlooks the island greens
of the ninth and eighteenth.

sister to the well established Muang-Ake, Vista offers
a flat layout with minimal landscaping and awkwardly
placed hazards. The short par 70 course has six par
threes, all but one under 150 yards. Although the course
is surrounded by Klongs, there is plenty of space on
most of the fairways, so this is a good course for novices.
The course is fully floodlit for night golf. The clubhouse
is pleasant without being pretentious and the ambience
is friendly.

Jack Nicklaus designed course here measures 7,126 yards
from the "tiger'' tees and provides a tough test
for all classes of player. Huge lakes come into play
on almost half the holes and at the sixteenth players
have to hit their approach to an island green.
Putting surfaces are good, but most of the greens are
well guarded by deep bunkers. The palatial clubhouse
has several restaurants and function rooms.

is Thailand's first golf course designed by foreign
architect. The course was created especially for the
1975 World Cup and has since become a golfing mecca
for first time visitors to the country. Navatanee offers
a tranquil retreat full of mature trees and beautiful
shrubs.
The greens are well protected by bunkers and there is
a mix of wide and narrow fairways, with water coming
into play on five holes. The par four sixth hole and
the par five ninth hole across the lake are among the
best in the country. The clubhouse facilities are excellent.
